3D Scanning + 5G + AR/VR Shape Digital Education in New Energy Vehicles Field

In March of this year, ScanTech joined with China Telecom, Zhejiang Highway Technician College, and Orange Technology to build the first digital new energy vehicle model training base in China, applying 3D scanning technology, 5G communication, and VR/AR.
Along with the introduction of 3D digital courseware, virtual factories, AR 3D teaching materials, VR simulation training, online assessment, and AR manuals, digital technologies innovatively integrate into modern education.
Undoubtedly, compared with traditional inspection method, 3D scanning application has already been a global phenomenon in different fields due to their high accuracy and efficiency. By using ScanTech PRINCE 3D scanner, the 3D data can be fully captured precisely within a very short time.
The engineer imported the point cloud data into related software for mesh repair, topology reduction, maps/materials attachment, and 3D assembly animation making, these steps are indispensable to making display models.
The data model can be outputted to Pad, PC, cellphone, VR device, etc. helping to finish the training operations in the training workshops.

Except for the application at vehicle digital education, ScanTech also made our efforts in Scientific Research on 3D Scanning of Helicopter, and we use the HSCAN 3D scanner + MSCAN photogrammetry system to help an engineering laboratory in a university to measure a helicopter for academic research.
In the future, ScanTech will exert our 3D scanners to assist universities and enterprises to create digital training materials and bases.
